Core Skills 3 - One of the core skills training courses which has been specifically designed to cater for the needs of male carers. This course will be run by two men, one will be an experience foster carers.

The course will cover the important role men have as carers for children. Why males who choose to care for children are particularly vulnerable to allegations of abuse. Where, when and how male foster carers show affection to children and under what circumstances touch is and is not appropriate. Ways in which foster carers practice is made safer for the foster child, themselves and others around them.

Learning outcomes
